Of Organic Farming and the True Meaning of it

I went to an organic farm today. It opens up my mind to the farming methods of the farmers these days. The people-in-charged taught us on the importance of maintaining a balance ecosystem by building a so called bungalows for the insects, and some indicators of the soil too.

He showed us some of the samples of soil rehabilitation and the ways on preserving the nature. I rememebered he said, nature will do its work, farmers need not put any fertilizers to it. Coincidently, there are two UM genetics and marine biology students around. And they brag about the bio terms. I miss my bio, Darwin's Law , selection pressure etc too haha.

Initially, we are asked to do the farming ourselves, and it is quite interesting since I never do it before. Whee..However, it rains and we missed the chance :(

Yea, I am not too into this field, that's why I didn't bring back some of the organic fertilzers that he offered. It smells anyway cause of the fermentation process.Hehe
