Have you ever tried looking yourself into the mirror? What I meant is not the check and balance of daily routine of make-up, comb your hair, dress-up etc. It is when you're juggling your own body language, your facial expression, movement , the way you walk, was it graceful or not? The way you talk and eat, the way you brought up yourself in front of others. All about mannerism, etiquette and your first impression to the others.
It doesn't matter how pretty or how stunning your features are, what matters most is your daily body language. I had my very first experience yesterday by looking myself through the mirror yesterday. A FULL-LENGTH and BROAD mirror. Basically, it encompasses the room! Goshhh, I got so shocked LOL! I was so shocked by my own movement and the way I carried myself. It's so different from the photos and pictures. Simply because while taking photos, we only have stoned there and fake up your sweetest smile ever. But now, it's about your body movement.
Ahem!Mine wasn't graceful at all!! "natural" perhaps.I remained silent for the whole session after that, still in the midst of accepting me, myself. Hmmm, that's why, we shouldn't keep pointing out people's fault without even looking at your own self. I did criticize how bad people look like before, to be frank. LOL
Oh well. What should I do now? Improve on the bad mannerism and learn to be more graceful and elegant? or should I just let it be? because this is "ME". I think all of my friends have already get used to it hence they never bothered to correct me. They already accept me for who I am, but me, myself can't accept it??! It's just too unbearable to see you, yourself in front of the mirror all the time; when it potraits every expression and actions of yours. It requires courage! I think I shouldn't be indulge in the exaggerative hands and legs movement while describing a story or incident.
