Though it might appeared as a simple answer to others, but it meant a lot to me. " Teacher, tell me frankly, What is the percentage of I passing in this coming exam?" Knowing that I will fail, I asked my piano teacher. I decided to absent on the day of exam actually.
I was hoping that she will answer 10 to 20%, so that I can have an excuse to quit the exam. However, her answer encourages me and reignite my passion to continue the journey. She said, " I don't know about you err, you are GOD mar, every time gives me surprises. " Yea, indeed, I passed my grade 6 and 7 practical exam out of her expectations. My results is close to Merit.
Hmm, she has faith in me, why don't I have faith in myself too? Because of her brilliant answer, I promised myself to do my best, regardless of the outcome. It is only two weeks time from now, I will practise as hard as I can. I can be jailed at home to practise so hard for uni activities, why not this time?
By the way, my mid-sem exam falls on two days after my piano exam and there are many interesting upcoming events too.Aiks,,,I couldn't be so greedy. Pey Yi, you should CONCENTRATE to strive for the best and work for the goal first!
