When personal interest is at stake, no one tends to bother you.

This is especially obvious and proven when exams are near. Those self-centered one would just answer you, I do not know how to do where they are actually well-versed in it.

These are what happened in university. We might share laughter, jokes etc but when exams are near, people switched their mode.

The only way out, be independent and don't rely on others. Thank God I still have a friend who is willing to teach me other than those fishmongers.
